Easy meals, quick delivery

Needed some quick dinners so I gave Mom's Meals a shot. Got a box of General Wellness meals, things like the Turkey Meatloaf and the Beef Pot Roast. They got here pretty fast, like 4 days, and were all chilled. Just popped them in the microwave. They tasted fine, nothing super fancy but definitely did the job. Made dinner a lot easier when I was busy.

Good value for first order

I was looking for some healthy options and saw Mom's Meals. I got the introductory meal bundle, which included 7 meals, and used a first order discount code for $15 off. It made the per-meal cost pretty reasonable. Free shipping on that first box helped a lot too. I tried the Heart Friendly meals. It felt worth it for the price, especially with the discount.

Convenient, good quality, some improvements

I ordered a box of Diabetes Friendly meals for my mother, specifically the Chicken with Pasta and Broccoli and the Salmon with Roasted Vegetables. The ordering process on the website was straightforward, though it took a moment to navigate all the meal plan options. Delivery to her address in upstate New York took 5 days from when I placed the order, which was within the estimated window. The meals arrived well-packaged and still perfectly refrigerated. My mother reported that the Chicken with Pasta was quite good, well-portioned, and easy to heat. The Salmon dish, however, she felt was a little bland and the texture of the roasted vegetables was softer than she preferred. Customer support was responsive when I called with a question about modifying future deliveries; I waited about 10 minutes on hold. Overall, it's a very helpful service for her needs.

Quick question about payment. If I'm paying myself, can I use a promo code? And where do you even put it in?

P Paula Silva 1 month ago
Yes, you can use promo codes if you're self-paying. There's a spot for it during checkout, before you finalize the order.

Only for self-pay customers. You'll see the box for the code on the checkout page. Won't work if your insurance is paying.

Hey guys, thinking about trying Mom's Meals for my grandma, she has diabetes. Do they actually deliver to like, anywhere? We're in a pretty rural part of Montana.

N Neil Foster 1 month ago
Yeah, they're pretty good with delivery. I'm in a small town in Wyoming and they get here fine. Seems like they cover most of the US.

They deliver nationwide. My aunt gets them in rural Idaho. Just plug in her zip code on their site to be super sure.

Just wondering if anyone has tried their 'heart friendly' meals vs like, BistroMD? Trying to decide which one to go with.

N Nina G. 1 month ago
I tried both. Mom's Meals felt more like actual home cooking, if that makes sense? BistroMD was a bit more 'diet food' feeling.

My mom uses Mom's Meals for her heart issues. The food is pretty good, and it's refrigerated not frozen which I liked. Haven't tried BistroMD though.

Does anyone know if these guys are legit? Like, the food is actually good for people with conditions, not just generic diet food?

W Wendy 1 month ago
They're totally legit. My uncle has specific dietary needs for his kidneys and these meals are tailored for that. It's not just 'healthy' in a general way.

Yes, they focus on specific medical conditions. My mom's doctor even recommended them for her diabetes. They're definitely not just generic diet meals.

Are these meals actually good? Like, for real? And how long do they stay fresh in the fridge once they arrive?

A Amber 2 months ago
They're decent! Way better than some other meal services. I think they say they last for like 14 days in the fridge? Something like that.

Yeah they last a while, like two weeks. The taste is pretty good for convenience food. My dad gets the pureed ones and he likes them.
